LUME

UX/UI Design

Lume is a location-based platform that allows users to browse activities, events, and places to go while engaging through a social media–style feed. My responsibility was to craft an experience that was intuitive, visually engaging, and scalable, balancing discovery with connection.

Our Goal

Problem Statement

Exploring activities is often fragmented—users rely on multiple apps (Google Maps, Eventbrite, Instagram) to discover what’s happening nearby. These platforms either lack personalisation or the community aspect that drives real engagement.

Design Question

How might we create a platform that helps people discover local activities seamlessly while allowing them to share and connect socially?
